Find out more about how the skills and qualities of those in the past and present have contributed to Poppyscotland’s support of Scotland’s Armed Forces community. Compare and contrast how jobs roles have changed, find out more about the some of the unique roles in our charity, take our quiz to find out where you would be best suited to work and enter our competition.

2024 Competition – Centenary Calendar

This year our learning competition asks learners to design a piece of artwork based around one of two themes:  

• 100 years of Lady Haig’s Poppy Factory     

• The poppy as a symbol of remembrance 

12 winning designs will be chosen to make up the pages of a calendar which will be on sale to raise funds during our 100th centenary celebrations in 2026.
