‘In Future Fields’: A Remembrance Short Film for Schools (2020)
This special short film (7-minutes, 28 seconds) is about 12 year-old Sophie Henderson from Ayrshire. After winning our Poppyscotland 2019 Learning Competition, Sophie made her beautiful poem ‘In Future Fields’ into a moving song which she recorded with musician Scott Nicol with 25% of the proceeds coming to Poppyscotland. As well as featuring Sophie’s magical song and you will also hear stories about boy soldiers who fought in the trenches during World War One.
