The history of the band

The Band of The Royal Regiment of Scotland was formed in 2006 but Scotland as a country has been immersed in the tradition of military music for centuries.

Tea & toast

It is really easy to organise and great fun. All you need is some tea bags, some hot water and lots of toast (but you can have coffee and cakes too). Fundraise for us Armed Forces style.

Falklands: landing on a glacier to pick up survivors

Stewart Cooper, a young naval officer from Aberdeenshire, helped crew the first helicopter on a South Georgian glacier at the beginning of the Falklands conflict. He co-piloted a daring rescue on a glacier, picking up survivors of another helicopter crash.
